THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH

HARMONIZED SALES TAX PETITION

June 21, 2010

On June 14, 2010, the Council of the Town of New Tecumseth passed a resolution to prepare a petition in opposition to the Harmonized Sales Tax.  The petition is available at the Town Administration Centre in Alliston, the Joint Operations Centre in Beeton, Town Community Centres, and the New Tecumseth Public Library Branches in Alliston, Beeton, and Tottenham.

The petition is also available on the Town’s website to download, print, and circulate for signature as all petitions must bear an original signature.

All completed, original petitions are to be submitted to the Clerk of the Town of New Tecumseth on or before August 15, 2010.
